We are beyond excited to be adding a NEW VENUE to our Crochet Retreats in 2025.

Wraxall Yard in Dorchester have transformed a dilapidated dairy into five beautiful self-catered, accessible holiday cottages. The fields, wetlands, and riverbank surrounding Wraxall Yard are open to visitors to explore.

If you are in the South of England – or can get there – then this is the Retreat for you. We love it so much that we have extended the weekend and are offering a 3-night escape!

The Retreat will run Friday 25 April – Monday 28 April 2025.

Join me on a 3-night residential crochet weekend retreat at a stunning venue in the heart of the west country and the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Wraxall Yard is a not-for-profit organisation, run by father and daughter team, Nick and Katie Read. The barns have been refurbished and adapted into fully accessible self-catered accommodation. The five cottages surround a shared courtyard garden, which has been thoughtfully designed to proide peace and privacy for guests.

From the Courtyard, there is a beautiful route out through the newly planted orchards and down to the riverbank via a wheelchair-accessible boardwalk.

Wraxall Yard offers a luxurious setting for a relaxing weekend with their stunning accommodation and plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature.

With a whole weekend of creative workshops, holistic therapies and amazing food, this retreat is guaranteed to help you do just that.

The crochet workshops are suitable for anyone with basic crochet skills.
